What if I receive more or less than I ordered?

Innovative Marketing and Design llc is a manufacturer of products and decoration as well as a distributor of custom branded product. During the manufacturing process, the machines, which are as large as an office room have start up and shut down processes and products get caught in between these two processes. If the machine shuts down too early, then the order may be short a few pieces. If the machine runs a bit longer and produces more pieces, then your order may contain more then the ordered quantity. In both cases your invoice is adjusted to mirror what is shipped and delivered to you.

In many cases, the products that are shipped over which is more then what you ordered to come complimentary to you but in rare cases, our production partners may bill for the overages or additional pieces.

In all cases where less then what you ordered is shipped, we will adjust the invoice to reflect the lesser quantity and bill you for the lesser amount.


What are set up charges?

When an item that you have ordered is going through the decoration process, there are several steps that are featured in the “set up” process. The first step is ensuring your artwork will print on the item you are wishing to order, and then at the correct size to be legible on the item.

Then, to decorate your item, a plate or film is created and burned to allow for the ink to transfer from the ink well to your promotional product. In decoration methods where there is no ink, there will be machine setup time to focus the logo onto the product by either creating an emboss or deboss die or by auto focusing a laser onto the product to burn in the design.

All the decoration methods have a setup fee to accomplish and procure the materials to create the decoration. The fees are reflective on the number of colors and the number of decoration locations on your item and vary by item and decoration methodology.


If I reorder an item, will I pay set-up charges again?

If your item is decorated with embroidery, silkscreen, and or transfer systems then you will never be charged a repeat setup fee if your logo is exactly printing to your past job and exactly on the same item and color.

If you change your logo, change the color, adjust the size, and or change item of order, then a new setup fee will apply.


Will I see a proof before my order goes into production?

Yes! Unless it is an exact reorder, you always see an ‘e-proof’ of your item which must be approved by you before we proceed!


Can I see a sample?

Innovative Marketing & Design, our top priority is your satisfaction! We offer product samples to eliminate any concerns about quality, size of logo imprint, size of product, density of product, fill of product, and many other important aspects of the promotional product, and to help you decide if an item is the right fit for your brand messaging. Please note that samples may differ from items ordered due to modifications in production and variations in dye lots. Most sample requests with a total dollar amount under $10 will ship free of charge. A credit card may be requested for multiple sample requests, for more expensive samples or for items that need to be special ordered. All samples are shipped either blank or with a random imprint via USPS or UPS ground. We reserve the right not to send sample requests that are excessive or are deemed to be personal in nature.


Can I order in quantities smaller or larger than those shown?

Use of Trademarks Submitted By You:

If we use artwork you have supplied to imprint your product, you are warranting that you have unrestricted right and authority to use and distribute that artwork. When you supply Innovative Marketing and Design llc with artwork, you are warranting that you have the right to use and distribute your artwork. In some cases, Innovative Marketing and Design llc may require written confirmation from the trademark owner that you are permitted to use it.


Is there a time limit to report an issue with my order?

Yes, we will allow the user/ordering party/customer 5 business days from receipt of the product to call and initiate a report of issue with a product. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR ENTIRE ORDER, EVERY CARD, EVERY PIECE, AND EVERY PRODUCT TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DEFECT OR DAMAGE IN YOUR PRODUCT. If a concern, question, or issue is not reported within 5 business days of receipt, we will not be held liable any further.

At this time, the following guidelines are also in place:

All sales are final on custom or personalized products which include all printed materials, unless our team makes an error in printing or pulling the wrong item for shipment. A reprint will be shipped immediately if our firm has made a mistake.

What artwork format do I need? What if I do not have the right kind of file?

The best printing in the industry starts with a layered vector art file. These files are generally not able to be opened on a regular computer and typically have the file ending of ai, .eps, or .pdf. The highest level of artwork enables us to make sure your printed design is as perfect as possible for your item. If you do not have the correct type of file, send us what you have. Our consultants will be happy to advise and assist you on the best decoration methods and how to recreate your artwork! Basic art recreations are free. Artwork that will take more then one hour to recolor, re-render, and re-create will be charged a $55.00 artwork fee.


Do you keep my artwork on file?

Yes! We keep all active clients’ art on file for 24 months from project completion.


Can you decorate Apparel?

Yes we do! We empower our own machines for embroidery, silkscreen, laser, heat pressing, metallic imprinting, and many additional specialty print styles.


Will you print anything?

Innovative Marketing and Design llc exists to enhance our clients’ brands and their creativity. We are strong proponents of free speech. However, we reserve the right to refuse to print anything that is not protected speech, including but not limited to: obscenity, fighting words, defamation (including libel and slander), child pornography, perjury, blackmail, incitement to imminent lawless action, true threats, solicitation to commit crimes, plagiarism of copyrighted materials, and hate speech. This is entirely at Innovative Marketing and Design llc discretion.
